The BJA Board of Directors and the National Refereeing Commission have approved the attached New Rules changes
which become applicable as from the 1st January 2009. With the only exception of the Judogi
rule - this is only applicable at - International events.
Obviously the BJA Board of Directors and NRC members encourage all players to comply
with Article 3 - Judogi at all competitive events. It will be expected that players will
present themselves at the contest mat in the correct judogi and if not; they will be asked to change to one which
does comply with Article 3.
