|
|
Theory: |
|
|
· Knowledge of contest rules as they apply to Timekeeping/Scoring. |
|
· Knowledge and understanding of terms used. |
|
· Knowledge of equipment used in Timekeeping/Scoring |
|
· Knowledge of use of equipment: (1) How it is used, (2) When it is used , (3) Where it
is used |
|
|
|
Practical: |
|
|
Must have time kept and scored at a minimum of 4 (four) qualifying events under supervision and produce proof of
activity by having a paper signed by the Competition Controller at the event. Then pass the Timekeeper/Scorer exam paper with
a minimum pass mark of 70%. |

|
|
|
|
Theory: |
|
|
1.
Knowledge and understanding of how to use the National
forms designed for recording in competitions |
|
2.
Knowledge and understanding of terms used |
|
3.
Knowledge and understanding of scores and penalties, and points awarded for each |
|
4.
Knowledge and understanding of all systems used in
various types of competitions |
|
5.
Knowledge and understanding of the requirements: |
|
|
· To Control the table
· To maintain continuity of fighting
· To use the microphone effectively |
|
|
|
|
|
Practical: |
|
|
Must have held the Timekeeper/Scorer award
for a minimum of one year and have recorded at a minimum of 4 events which should be recorded and signed by the Competition
Controller on your Timekeeper/Scorer Authority Card. Then pass the Competition Recorders exam paper with a minimum pass mark
of 75%. |
