WINSLOW JUDO CLUB
On the 17th May a large party of Judo Players and their supporters travelled to Winslow from the Towns ‘Twinned’
club in Cours La Ville France as part of the Towns ‘Twinning’ The
weekend involved a joint training session, social events, including a Pig roast/ dance, a day in London and of course a Judo
Competition. Which turned out to be a superbly exciting well matched event with players from novice level, through to experience
teenagers and adults all showing wonderful Judo spirit and skills. In the end Winslow Just edged ahead by one contest to!
win back the special Jumelage trophy that they lost in France last year. Everyone
had a great time and are now looking forward to next year when it will be Winslow turn to travel to France again.
This type of event is not possible
without the hard work and support of many people and the Club wish to thank them all.
